Through my landscape photography, I explore the diverse ways spaces exist in the world. Nature has a remarkable ability to unite different elements, sometimes standing tall and solitary in an expansive setting, other times blending subtly into the surrounding environment.
Product and commercial photography is about capturing images that inspire viewers to connect with a product. I am not affiliated with any of the brands featured here. These images are experiments in different shooting styles. While failure is part of the process, the satisfaction is magnified when all elements align perfectly. Working in this genre has greatly deepened my understanding of light.
Hard light creates beautiful shadows. All you have to do is to place the desired objects in place.
My first attempt at 3D designing and printing
I enjoy juxtaposing elements of nature with manmade structures, reflecting my belief in the potential harmony between the two. This approach also allows me to explore striking contrasts and visual tension within a frame.
I tried to use the colorsplash technique where I turned the surrounding into black and white and kept the green of the house. This makes it the hero in the image.
Plants express themselves through their colors, vitality, fading hues, and textures, conveying more than words ever could. They capture the essence of a season, the passage of time, a fleeting moment, and a range of emotions.
Macro shot of a sunflower.
This is the genre that I have not had much chance to experiment with. But I am beginning to like this genre cos I love to capture the emotions. I prefer to capture a candid moment than a posed one.
Capturing motion is one of the most fascinating aspects of photography. A subtle blur can add depth and narrative to an image, while freezing motion highlights dynamic action- ideal for sports, splashes, or food photography - bringing energy and precision to the frame.
We often think life revolves around us, yet we are just a small part of the vast universe, sustained by a delicate balance of natural forces. A macro perspective reveals entire worlds within a world, inviting us to truly #lookbeyondyou.
If you want to capture innocence, love, anger, or the essence of life, animals are unmatched subjects. Their unpredictability and natural reluctance to pose often lead to the most authentic and beautiful images.
This genre is particularly effective for documenting processes. Here, I have captured two distinct examples: first, the creation of paper from natural materials during a workshop at Tredu’s Process Industry department; second, the transformation of 3D prints into bronze jewelry at Tredu’s Arts and Crafts department in Tampere. Process photography can also serve as a valuable educational tool, illustrating each step in a clear and engaging way.
This page is dedicated to experimental work. The first two images are composites, blending elements from multiple worlds to create unique visual narratives.
They say the best camera is the one you have on hand. I began my photography journey with a mobile phone, and some of my most memorable shots were captured this way.
Every thing that exists or had once existed has a story to tell.
Bowing down to the greatest artist ever - Mother Nature.
We are mere pieces in this delicately interwoven puzzle called life.
A born foodie, I enjoy capturing every detail of food: the pours, splashes, swirls, and even the mess. These images are my humble attempt at preserving some memorable food moments, all shot with a mobile phone.
Kerala Fish Fry
For most Keralites fish is one of our staple food. It is marinated with salt, turmeric, chilly powder and deep fried. This is served with plain rice and some coconut based vegetable curry.
Chicken Biryani
A dish that has ‘festive’ written all over it. Guests, celebrations, warmth and deliciousness resonates with this sumptuous dish.
Chicken Masala
Chicken in a thick gravy soaked in an aroma of well crafted spices. Reminds me of my mom’s specialities.
Kadala Curry
Thick coconut based chickpeas curry. Coconuts are an intrinsic part of Kerala dishes. In fact not just cooking, literally every part of the tree is used in various forms. From oil, to mats to brooms. You name it and we make it.
Chana Masala
A protein rich curry made out of Garbanzo beans or kabuli chana usually served with chapatis, puris or baturas. It is my definition of comfort food.
Dosa with Onion Chutney
No south Indian breakfast is complete without our dosas and chutneys. I owe this recipe to my mother in law.
Liver Curry
A human being’s way to the heart is through his/her stomach should have been the saying. My man cooking up a storm in the kitchen!
Prawns fry kerala style
As they say eat with your eyes first. Some macro magic.
Tea Time
Tea is an instant mood lifter. A good book, a warm blanket and a hot cup of tea brightens up any gloomy day.
Honey Drip
I love to click action shots. Its just beautiful to catch the flow and freeze the frame all with just one click.
Water Splash
They say that keeping the child in us alive makes us live a beautiful life. So cheers to that and splash it up.

Telling stories through food!
